    Emessa, our very first Ghraoui chocolate survived the history of time with no change to its original recipe.
    A single roasted almond coated with milk chocolate was introduced to the Levant region almost a hundred years ago. A pair of silver scissors or a golden letter opener was hidden in every wooden chocolate box imported from Austria to tempt people into buying this novelty. No wonder this new delicacy became extremely popular.
